The Making of a Book Cover

Camel Train in front of Pyramids - Photo by P.D. BramsenThe concept for the cover of ONE GOD ONE MESSAGE was "inspired" by a journeying camel train, led by a rider on a donkey with a horse, which Paul (the author) and his son Nate observed on a hot Middle Eastern day in 2004. Paul photographed the camel train in front of the great pyramid of Giza, then Nate took a picture of his dad in the same setting. This was before Paul knew he was going to write ONE GOD ONE MESSAGE.

More than two years later, as the book was in the editing stage, Paul's graphically gifted brother Dave shortened the camel train, added some shadows, put a book in the donkey-rider's hand, removed the pyramids (in less time than it took the Egyptians to build them) ... and voilà... a book cover! It is our prayer to God that many might climb aboard one of these proverbial camels and take this journey through the most important message and best story ever told.
